About Us

Compass Bound was inspired by a desire to break free from the confines of an office, to be out hiking, camping or simply enjoying a sunset. I spent many years as a corporate photographer. As I loved my job, it lacked something that could never be found indoors. Making people smile and feel good about themselves is a privilege and an honor, but came at a high cost. As the years passed it took longer for me to recharge between events.

It began draining my quality of life.

 

Being in nature with my camera I never experience that drain. My exhaustion now comes from hiking miles to a vista and back. No matter how physically tired I am, I am recharged.

Photography is my passion. Nature is my subject. The earth is my frame. Our designs are inspired by the views, thoughts, and experiences captured through my viewfinder.

Life isn't complete without experiencing the beauty of nature. We all need a reminder of what lies beyond the walls that hold us. Whether it is majestic views from a mountain top...
